WA State Dept of Agriculture Testimonial
"WSDA has captured GPS data at ~10,000 survey sites throughout the State of Washington in pursuit of logging ~12,500 in 2009. We've successfully used customized DataTap software and iBlue 886 BT-GPS hardware to capture GPS data in two formats: CSV (text) and MDB (Access). DataTap software makes desktop management of streaming, real-time field GPS data a snap. Consequently, I'm able to quickly capture, analyze, and stream back real-time reports and summaries to supervisors and field staff. Both like the iBlue 886 BT-GPS because of its nearly-instant 3D fixing, increased number of satellites viewed/used, incredibly small size, and sensitivity/accuracy.
From product testing to now, I'm continually surprised how quickly such a small device streams fixed 3D data--even in remote parts of our state! Once the hardware is wirelessly connected via BlueTooth, users are frequently in 3D fix mode by the time they tap the Logging screen to ADD a new record...AMAZING!!"
