iPhone App + AptoTrak & AptoGraph

DataTap is designed for Smartphones, and together with AptoLink's web-based app called AptoTrak, provides a complete real-time location-based networking solution. DataTap uses the iPhones’s internal GPS to capture your location data in both continuous GPS and point GPS formats. It also geo-tags media – pictures and videos (...video coming soon) – and are displayed with the location data using Google Maps as a backdrop.

The captured location data (along with media) can be uploaded on-the-fly to AptoTrak and viewed from a PC or MAC. AptoTrak (and AptoGraph) user interfaces (UI) are compatible with Safari (Mac), Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer Web browsers.

Combo Description

AptoTrak is a web-based tracking and viewing app that allows user to automatically uploaded real-time location/position and media directly from the handset through the wireless network and dynamically displayed. AptoTrak and DataTap (the Handset app) together provide the complete real-time system solution

AptoGraph is a web-based graphing tool that uses Google Maps or Google Earth as a backdrop to plot GPS (NMEA) data, providing a visual experience of the user’s activity or route. AptoGraph enables users to upload a single ZIP file with pictures and .TXT or .CSV files, and geo-tagged pictures using a EXIF format. The location data, media and adjoining “notes” are overlaid on Google Maps or Google Earth.

DataTap is designed for Smartphones and other Handhelds. This application uses the Smartphone/Handheld’s internal GPS (or an external SD GPS or BT-GPS device) to capture your location data in both continuous GPS (NMEA) and point GPS formats. DataTap also geo-tags media – pictures (using EXIF format) and videos (using a long/lat point) – and are displayed with the location data using Google Maps as a backdrop.
